Why is it that older style baits that used to be the "Hot Ticket" fade off the charts and really don't seem to work as well as they did years ago? Some say the bass get used to seeing those baits zooming by all the time and therefore are "conditioned"...but hey, there are several new generations of bass who haven't seen many ringworms or binky bugs. So what's the deal???

(note: my question won't count for the contest)

Fishing is a expensive hobby, what are some of the good rod brands with good quality that someone can buy on a budget and still get good quality rods and reels?

Sorry kent i couldnt resist it was too easy! :D :D :D :D :D

my question is
how do you become a better angler at pre fish, espically with the urge to stick fish, most anglers are weekend guys and vacation time is used to fish pro ams how do you get out of the stick fish routine
especially in the western clear water lakes
Havasu, mead were sticking a fish in pratice will kill you during the tournament.

BASS has banned the multi-lure rigs from the Classic and Elite series. It covers variety of multi-lure rigs, spreaders, drop-shot with a jig, but is obviously targeting the Alabama Rig. Will the other tournament trails follow suit and is the rig detrimental to the fisheries? Should DFG consider a ban also?

Ok I have closed this contest off at 8:30 on Wednesday night. I am suprised that we had such a low turnout of questions for this contest this year. It usually draws over 30 or more posts and this year it was much lower than that so.......................

Each of you that posted a question on this link for the Round Table are going to be winners and you will each get a free ticket to get into the show and come see the Ultimate Bass Roundtable at 12:30 on Saturday. It should be a great show, lots of great stuff and the seminars are going to be great...

Your pass will be at the will call windown located at the main Cal Expo gate (not the gate by the racetrack) under your name.

I will see you at the show!
