I use them and like them a lot. They are better than any other float system I've used. One thing, though: Make sure your scale has a pounds and ounces format to match the Smart Cull format. Smart Cull doesn't have a decimal format. You want your scale to say "5 lbs. 7 oz.," not pounds and decimal ounces. Otherwise, you'll have to do some math to convert the decimal weight to ounces. The newer Rapala Touch Screen Tournament Scale works well with the Smart Cull.

Started using mine over 2 years ago and immediately sold my Cul M Rite, right after having it serviced by the factory. It truly is simple and effective....as long as you have an accurate scale and I use the Rapala digital which shows weights from either side. Easy to set the dial showing the weight and you can readily see the weights with the balls floating on the surface. Easy to itentify the smallest by color and cull it out. Worth the purchase price. :D
