Humminbird does it again!

Post by adman »

360 degree imaging! It's like underwater radar. Real time, 360 imaging including forward looking, incredible. And as only Humminbird does it is compatible with all the newer, ethernet capable units, no obsolescence. This is a big deal.

$2,000.00 is a lot of money for a transducer, no matter how cool it is.

You guys need to get a real side-scanning sonar unit! You cut a hole in the bottom, glass in a tube the transducer retracts into, then you can find squid, shipwrecks, buried treasure, the ark, etc. You will have true 3D images in a complete circle, and have totally "pimped your ride!"

My ride is totally un- pimped!! :( I have an X16C and a 520C. I have to hit the X16 because the screen comes on upside-down. :? I have had commercial boats with side-scans though... I think the way to go is a towable "fish" for $19,000. It'll hook up to a laptop!( but you can't go over 3 knts.- perfect for trolling the Calibama rigs!) If I had 19K though, I probably have a better boat again! Maybe Ober will just give me back my last Triton...

well, if'n I got a "real job" instead of being a Captain, I'd not have to work weekends and I'd make enough to enter tourneys too! So, we'll see.
