Temp discrepancy?

I have a 997 on the front of my boat and a 1198 @the console. Both have the HDSI transducer on them. I am seeing a temp difference of 4-5* between the 2. The 1198 is always the higher of the 2, any ideas what is causing this? They seem to be consistent but I have no clue which one is right and it is driving me nuts.

Adjust the temp offset in the Master Menu under Set-up Tab. This way they willl both read the same.
