Sierously? thats like the NFL announcing the Superbowl as it plays out and showing the coverage a week later.... kinda wierd, glad it wasnt just me. I really couldnt devote the time to watch on line, would have preferred to have cought it every morning as it was playing out. Oh well, ill look again on the DVR for this weekend. Thanks Bite Me for the update and Roger and B for not excluding me

This year it was kind of lame online. I watched all 3 days and if i have to hear that ruhtard Mercer speak his stupid little one liners one more time "flippity flop lets see what you got"!!! They need to move the classic to somewhere like Okechobee (spelling?) or Toho or somewhere south with some toads to make it worth while! KVD wouldn't go for that so they wont do it but that's what i would like to see. So dont feel like you missed much cause you didnt!!

Agree, Mercer makes it hard to watch. Not much substance there. Too much time trying to be cute. Oh well, guess BASS is reaching for the 14 - 18 year old demographic.

Thanks guys I thought the Shrevport LA listing was last years Classic, I recorded it on friday and it WAS last years classic. So i guess i can set the DVR to watch the outcome that I already know - it is kinda strange ANY sports fan will tell you it SUCKS watching a taped game knowing the outcome - oh well

Ever since ESPN bought B.A.S.S., it's been terrible.
I think part of the sale by ESPN was letting them keep the TV coverage, so we're screwed.
It's kinda like Frank McCourt keeping the parking lots when he sells the Dodgers. Whoever goes for a deal like that is in for a bumpy ride.
At least ESPN can't put commercial buildings up on the parking lot land. Hahaha

The Classic was not shown on any channels it only came on the Internet. I agree with you about Mercer and his antics as an Announcer. He is nauseaous, and that stupid laugh has to go when he closes each episode, but Mark Zona is no better, he loves the camera a bit too much, maybe bring back Velvick; he loves the attention! Zona really thinks he is a star now that he has his own show and it is boring as hell.

The old BASSMASTERS videos that use to come on TNN were the best, I believe Bob Kolb was the announcer. I think he passed a few years ago but who is ESPN2 going to use? I hope they don't use Fish Fishburne because he is "burned out" and not funny. That last MC before Mercer was no better. We are stuck with Sanders and Zona until something else comes along.

Jerry McKinnis was the best host/analyst B.A.S.S. ever had.

Ill take Mark Zona over Mercer. Byron Velvick is ok at least he has been there and know what he is talking about! Only thing that sucka about Zona is he is a KVD homer and that gets annoyong!

Check your local listings but I saw that the Day 3 weighin is on ESPN2 at 6:30 to 8:30 PM PST not AM. Its listed as "Fishing" like last year. I guess if Daytona was in primetime, so is the Classic.
Take a kid fishing and give them memories for a lifetime.
