screen distortion on 997

I have a 997 on the front on my boat with the transducer going down the trolling motor...I was at an event yesterday and turned it on. The screen started flickering and you could hardly read any text. When it booted up and was on sonoras as well as all other views, the screen still flickered and went on and on as well as would black out. I tried the unit on my console cables as I also have a997 on the console and it would do it there too. I tried to restore to default but no luck...what's going on?

Sounds like it may have something internal. I would call HB Customer Service 800-633-1468
