Re: Raingear
I also have the guidewear. Simply awesome gear that works. Have the regular set (not insulated), works well with layering and sheds water easily. You cannot go wrong with this stuff.

Re: Raingear
If you can possibly wait and are interested in the Cabela's guidewear... I recommend waiting until September... Cabela's usually has an awesome sale mid to late September where you can get the guidewear for REALLY cheap! $100 for a parka and $90 for the bibs..
and installated are like $20 more (each). Then they also offer shipping deals too... just crazy prices for an excellent gor tex set... just something to think about...

Re: Raingear
I have guidewear but will be switching to simms. The guidewear is great but simms is on a different level. I know Outdoor Pro Shop has it so you can try it on.

Re: Raingear
I have bought them all over the years.. Cabela's Guidewear, Helly Hansen, Columbia, BPS etc.... Simms hands down is the finest rain wear I have ever worn. Worth every penny when you stay dry and by far the most comfortable bibs & jacket on the market..
