Top Stick Castaic 4/14 details

With the forecast looking for sun and light wind, our Castaic event for tomorrow is shaping up to be a doosy with the fish just begging to move up.

Here are the details:
West Ramp sign-ups start at 4 am.
Inspections around 5:30 when lake staff arrives and meeting soon to follow.
Dry Creek is closed for the spawn.
We will launch as soon the lifeguards let us.
Speed limit is 35 and the lifeguards WILL RADAR when we blast off so consider yourselves warned.
Fish not caught in the MOUTH from the INSIDE will be grounds for possible DQ, so dont snag your fish...PERIOD.
See you all tomorrow morning starting at 4 am at the WEST RAMP.

Forecast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. North northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

15-25 isnt too light of wind! and i think that will rule out the sight fishing game for most! Have fun out there...I'm gunna be on Casitas is the same forecasted weather.

15-25 mph winds will feel like a slight breeze after what we went through up at Pyramid 2 weeks ago!!!!

Youn ain't kidding! A squal just rolled through Orange and let er' rip with wind and lightning...but it was moving pretty fast...
