Help on motor guide steering cables!!

I have a motor guide tour edition 82lb trolling motor. Im trying to replace the 2 steering cables. I can find the exact correct length for 1 cable but not the other. The closest one I can find in overall length is 2 inches loner then my old one but the cable housing(black rubber around cable) is correct! I was told as long as you get the correct length on the cable housing it would work!?!? But what about the 2 extra inches in overall length? Help please!!

There are only four cables for the newer Motorguide motors which one did you match? do you have the part number?
