LOOKING FOR LOW TIDE HELP
LOOKING FOR LOW TIDE HELP
Looking for any advice/technics for low tide. Should I assume the fish have posted in the weed line? Outside the weed line? Offshore structure like tule islands? I'm lost when the tide bottoms out and any help would be appreciated. I'm not looking for anyone's secrets just a solid starting point. Thanks in advance.

Re: LOOKING FOR LOW TIDE HELP
Take advantage of the bottomed out low tide and sight fish where ever you can find clear enough water. Also, pay attention to the landscape (structure exposed by the low tide) can help you pinpoint possible holdin spots a bass will hold up during the incoming tide.

Re: LOOKING FOR LOW TIDE HELP
I wrote this Last year, perhaps it will help? Most guys, myself included, start out fearing that low tide - we think we lose our fishing spots - but as one spends more time on the river one starts to LOVE the low tide and most river rats prefer the low tide as it concentrates fish and actually makes it easier to target them. Below is a link and on westernbass Cooch wrote a great article on solving the delta low tides.
