Lake Almanor Smallies 5/14/2012

Here are some of the 10 smallmouth we caught at Almanor Monday....The one in my left hand was just under 4 lbs and we had one just over. All males, all sight fishing, some off stumps and some off of beds in the gravel areas. Water temp was 61 at 8am and 63 when we got done around 11am. A thunder storm was rolling in and the wind picked up so we left.
The next 6 weeks are going to be a sight fisherman's dream....don't miss it!
