Pardee Fishing Report

Post by WB Fishing Reports »

From the Pardee Lake Recreation

Recent success stories: ... 6lb 6oz Bass last week using senko.

...The water level is once again at spill and holding. EBMUD continues to generate and release water to fill Camanche Reservoir. Visibility is excellent... presently good to 20 feet at the Marina. Water temperatures have remained constant since last report and are currently 56 degrees at the 20 foot mark and 60 at the surface.
...The Trout and Kokanee have gone a little deeper lately and are spaced out in the 10 to 45 foot strata. Hot lures are still Uncle Larry’s glow pink fire tiger, copper popsicles and desert fire lures, tipped with corn behind a medium silver/blue or watermelon Sep’s dodger have all been very successful combos for Kokanee.

The Marina reports bank fishermen have been doing very well since the recent plant. No word has come in about the Woodpile for this report but it’s worth a try. Rainbow Point, the shore behind the EBMUD boathouse, the launch ramp and Porcupine Point were the most populated. Garlic flavored Power bait and eggs in yellow and chartreuse remain the most successful bait along with the Pistol Pete fly at the end of a 4ft leader behind a water bobber.

Pardee Lake Recreation has planted a total of 23,000 lbs. of Rainbow Trout in combination with the Department of Fish and Game plants of 5,000 for a grand total of 28,000 lbs., look for another plant in the near future
