Can you stop to buy artificial bait during tourney?
Generally speaking, is it permissible to stop to purchase a bait you're running low on during a tournament?
I pulled into the Hook during a recent Delta (club) tournament to pick up some Senkos I was about to run out of. When I mentioned this during our next meeting it was pointed out that while it's not specifically prohibited per our tournament rules, it typically would be for larger tournaments. Is this in fact the case?
I'm referring to situations where a tackle store is accessible via boat on the water the tournament is taking place on. Not leaving your boat to drive to a near by store.

Well, technically, you could leave your boat to take a dump in a restroom on a dock. If it happens to be part of or next to a tacke store and you quickly pick up a few things, then what? Unless specifically stated in your particular circuit rules that says "no buying of anything after a dump" there should be no issues

You would have to stand in line and wait your turn for the crapper pattern around Diamond Valley....Joe Bruce wrote:I once used a ss relief at melones. saw a nice fish under the white ball it was attached to so i backed off and stuck a six lb spot. LOL, if one od Cooches commercial's holds true with bass tackle depot lol. You should be able to call them from your cell phone and they will deliver out to you while you are fishing a tournament. LOL, false advertisement? That would really be cool if you can really get service like that while out on the delta.
