Trip Saved by Clearlake Marine
Wanted to post a thank you to Clearlake Marine service in Clearlake oaks
I had a 3 day trip and on the first day I lost the trim on my motor. Pulled the boat out and I just stopped by and ask them a few questions. Jeff and Rick had it figured out and in less than an hour had me back on the water and saved the 3 day fishing trip with my son….. Thanks guys

It was your power trim relay. I could have told you that in 4 seconds. Carry a spare, they are 15 bucks on I boats.

Don't feel bad, I spent 2 days of playing with the wrong parts till I threw in a new relay. Lol. It would trim up but not go down. Few weeks ago it would go down and not up. Fixed it on the water.Laserdoc wrote:you could have told me but you didnt...ha

When something goes wrong I go to that site and pull up the schematic and look at what goes to control whatever don't work. Then like a bad mechanic, I start throwing parts at it.
The site is boats.net, not iboats. I was confused. Very good schematics.
