looking for carp

Shooting carp in the delta this weekend and wondering if any of you guys have seen any numbers of fish anywhere.. thanks

Carp have been pretty sporadic last 4-5 days. They haven't always been in the same place the next day. Gotta put some miles on the boat to find the pods. They are always up somewhere, you just never know where.

Widows Island is loaded with em

Widows is carp central, tons of them in that flooded island. Plus, you won't get the wake disturbance from the ski boats you'll see in the sloughs and main channel

What area is Widows Island in? I know the Delta pretty well and have never heard of it

Sweet shot them there a few years ago. There is a carp shoot this weekend there so hopefully i can findem. Thought about going to the break.@ Jeff its down south below the entrance to Disco Bay.

Right on. Was going to make it to the shoot, but couldn't get out work on Saturday. Really sucks! :oops: :oops:

I live in sacramento. There is a small carp shoot next month on sat 7 in the bypass if you can make that one. 20$ a team they pay 100$ to win and 5$lb for big fish.

I will be hosting a few tournaments this year starting July on some Motherlode lakes if you can make it. I will be posting information pretty soon.
