Vern Retires

Post by Vern »

As some of you might have heard June 2 was my last tournament. I am going to fish from now on. There are to many people for me to thank the list would take all day. I hope that I have not made to many people mad. I tried to make a good product for the anglers and make a positive mark in tournament fishing out west. I would like to thank My wife Sara for putting up with for so many years, and also to those who have supported me.

Vern,
I will always remember how warmly you treated me and Mike Iljin at the AC TOC years ago.
You are a class act.
Enjoy your "retirement".

Vern,
You ARE one of the best. It’s about time that you start doing for yourself after so many years of doing for others. Thank you for always being there for me and always being there for the fishermen. You brought integrity to this sport.
Enjoy life my friend,
