Powell Warranty

Does anyone know were i can warranty a Powell spinning rod in SoCal. I live in Riverside and went to Turners, but they wouldn't do it. I bought it at the Bass-a-Thon in Feb and i had it out on the water for the third time this week and as i was bring in a fish on a jerk bait the fish made a run at the boat and snapped the tip in two places. Cant remember the model.

I would like to try and get it replaced without sending it in. I would pay the 60$ replacement fee and be done with it. Trying to find a good rod tube is a pain. LOL
