USAC West Delta Pro Teams 7-21-12

The U.S. Anglers Choice West Delta Pro Teams Trail will be holding the final tournament of this trail’s season tomorrow, Saturday, July 21st out of Russo’s Marina on the California Delta . With warming weather and the fish moving up on the beds, conditions are phenomenal and this should be reflected by some big weights hitting the scales.

The July 21st USAC West Delta Pro-Teams tournament will be conducted by USAC’s most seasoned director, Danny Peluso. Danny will be at Russo’s Marina to take sign ups starting at 4:00AM. You can reach Danny on his cell phone at (209) 535-8192 with any questions you may have regarding the tournament.

There is a tight points race going into this final event and the outcome of this tournament will determine who will be crowned the West Delta Trail Anglers of the Year. The West Delta Trail will be qualifying 16 teams plus 5 wildcards this year, so you will want to be sure that you have fished at least 5 tournaments in this trail for a chance to qualify. Teams should also remember that any team who fishes all 7 West Delta Trail events will automatically qualify for the TOC event to be held in October right here on the Delta! Full qualification details can be found under the Region #1 rules section on the USAC website.

Trophies will be awarded for first through third place teams and the big fish of the event will also receive a plaque. Any anglers who may have missed picking up their plaques at previous events will also be able to pick them up at this tournament.
