AC Rookie Teams Delta Russo's - 08/12/12

The U.S. Anglers Choice Western Rookie League will be making its final stop of the season on Sunday, August 12th out of Russo's Marina on the California Delta . With the warming weather, the bass will moving underneath the matted vegetation so the conditions are ideal for a phenomenal punch bite. Trophies will be awarded for first through third place teams and the big fish of the event will also receive a plaque.

Western Rookie League events are geared towards the beginning skill level angler. Your basic entry fee of $100 includes a big fish pool. Options, which are paid back 100% include a $10, $20, and $30 option. The depth these options pay down is a function of how many teams enter the option pools. For teams that have fished 3 events, this will be the last chance for TOC qualifying. TOC will be based on the best 4 out of 6 events fished in one region with the same partner with 2 throw outs. TOC will be located at Lake Oroville on October 6th & 7th. First Place Prize will be a Legend LE-186 SCX boat & trailer with a Mercury 150HP ProXS motor.

You may sign up prior to the event by going on line at the US Anglers Choice website under the WRL tab, or you can call Sherry Harwood at the US Anglers Choice office at (800) 360-7112. Early sign ups will take place on Saturday evening at Delta Outdoors which will stay open until 7pm. Sign ups the morning of the event will be done at the Russo's Marina office on Bethel Island starting around 4:15 AM.

Yes there is a $10 late fee if you sign up at Russo Sunday am 8/12. you can sign up at delta outdoors Saturday 8/11 between 3PM to 7PM and ask for Ador Lopez to avoid the $10 late fee.
