New 2013 Champions!

Post by Rick G »

Just wanted to let all the die hard Champion folks out there that the dream is still alive. We have been working with the factory to produce Westcoast Edition Champions here for Anglers Marine. Here is a picture of our 1st one so far. All Champion decals, trailer, seats you name it just like the old ones but built even better from the best boat factory on the planet in Flippin. This is a 210 Elite with a 300Pro XS opti and it will be rigged with the works. Let us know if your interested. They are available again here at Anglers Marine.

Best move since the PE acquisition. The Stratos light cutouts on the trailer just never looked right.

We need more pressure Lea from the other dealers nationwide to get back to the folks at PE that there are folks out there that want this brand Back. Lots of customers on the sidelines waiting still. This is just the start out here. Rick

I agree, Rick. I've spoken with Jason and will promote ordering what we want as much as possible. Using the 203 as an example, I've already shown that hollering for a model, but then not buying, is not the way to get our brand back!!!!

That 210 is a beauty, BTW!!!!!!

Hope things are going well for you!!!!

Just out of curiousity... I know there are plenty of guys that absolutly love Champion, but from what I understand the Elite series of Stratos is a Champion boat with Stratos badging and graffics. So why badge it Champion if it is the same as the Stratos, seems to me like it is just going to drive costs up under both brands just so your GMC says CHevrolete or vice versa?

I'm not bagging on it at all I am just wondering what the logic is or if there is acctually something that will make the boats different aside from Graffics and Badging?

The Elite series, which are currently wearing Stratos decals, are PURE Champion thru and thru. The only diff is the decals. As Rick says, we need to order the boats, but only as a special build...with all Champion decals, fender stamps, etc.

Rick, can we order butt seats that have the Champion logo on the back, or replacement seats?

Hasetak, to try to answer your question....We Champion folks want our brand back, NOT our boats wearing other badges. PE tried to kill the brand, but they just might be beginning to understand our brand loyalty.... AND the sales they lost to other companies due to their attempt to eliminate the brand!!!!

It has nothing to do with driving prices up....it has everything to do with keeping sales!

Lea,
Will the Champion boats and the comparable Stratos Elites be priced the same, or will we pay a premium for the Champion name, even though it's the same boat?

I would hope they would not charge extra, but have no idea. The boats are already Champions so we're only talking badging, as far as I know. Rick would be the one to ask, as he is the one who is making this happen for us. :D

Darlene, yes they have replacement parts left for the Champion brand. The 202 and 210 Elite boats are original Champion Factory molds and 2 of the most popular Champions ever made. Feel free to call Anglers Marine and ask for Joe, Mark, Art or myself for any pricing questions. Rick G. 7147468760 Anaheim, or 6194493474 Lakeside.
