The car was a frame-off restoration that I initially built for my son. He does not have a love for the classics like I do so, I want a boat that we can both share.
The car is 98% done and won an award at the last Goodguys event (only time I entered it). Engine is a 350 with camel-hump heads, comp cam, edelbrock intake, hooker headers connected to flowmaster exhaust and a few nice chrome pieces to dress it up (chrome alternator, head covers, air cleaner, etc.). Tranny is a TH400 with a shift kit connected to a B&M megashifter. Motor has 35k miles on it and the Tranny has under 200 miles on it. New carpet kit and recently re-covered (last summer) seats. All the trim pieces, bumpers and gas tank are brand new. Car was wired by previous owner with a Painless wiring kit. Ignition is all Mallory. Was a frame-off build and has all new bushings and A-arms as well. Wheels are Coy's customs that were machined to the correct offset for the vehicle. 14" cross-drilled/slotted rotors up front and drums in back. There are lots of other items I am leaving out but as previously stated, the car is 98% done. I have extra glass, parts and trim pieces to go along with the car.
The car runs flawlessly and has 0 leaks.
Here is a video of the car idling in the garage. http://youtu.be/1TKOOlrm_eU
It is easily worth 15-12k.
