Hello Papamunster (??)
When Charlie Moss and I and other SCBA members at the time put the Fall Classic together, now decades ago, little did we know that this great event would still be going strong, and as mentioned for a great cause. After the last time I fished the Fall Classic, three years ago, I was amazed that their still is almost a tradition of NOT having any publication of the results, other than a posting of stats for a limited time. NO archive, and well their should have been, in my opinion. By results, I refer to something other than just numbers, photos and interview of top finishers with methods to success, etc. The SCBA club has the most complete results of how to catch bass in all their tournaments fished, including archives, after every one of their tournys, on their web site. Why not the same for the Fall Classic?

I have brought this up to the SCBA Prez and some senior members of the club over the years, with a reply that it takes to much time, more or less. To say the very least, a complete review of the Fall Classic yearly, would also help attendance figures for next year, this is a proven fact. Perhaps this should be the year that the bad tradition is done away with of NO visual and verbal story line coverage of this tournament. Certainly there must be one SCBA club member who would be up to the challenge of a story line for the SCBA Fall Classic, to say nothing of what Phil Mitsueda has done for SCBA and bass fishing in general, after such a long time. A friend and I are traveling from Vancouver and Portland area to fish this tourny this weekend, and as all the times I have in the past fished it, and their have been many, look forward to fishing it once again. See you there! Jim M.
