Obama and the Senate(Dems) want to raise the tax rate on anyone over $200,000.00 income, @250,000.00 for married.

R's want to cut out some taxbreaks to raise taxes without raiseing the tax rate

With Obamas plan. Does anyone think the rich (that this is aimed at) dont have enough taxbreakes to cover the increase Obama wants to put on them.

and if the purpose is to raise the amount paid in, would'nt cutting the taxbreaks really work better (if they really cut real ones)?

Its all political, smoke and mirrors. The country is so dumbed down and dependent on govt. now, people either don't know, don't care or think govt.. will be able to give them more by taking from the rich.
