Camp Far West

Post by Basslab »

As I was out cruising on my new Christmas gift, a Victory Vision Tour motorcycle, I decided to take the winding road around CFW and check the water level. Well I am here to say that it is now filled to the brim. Main lake does have some color to it but back in the coves it appeared to be quite clear. It should take a couple weeks for CFW to flush clean but remember that they did pave the road from Wheatland Road all the way to the bridge and it is smooth, clean and remarked for our safety. So we have about 4 months of fishing before summer idiots start their annual pilgrimage.

I went out 2 weeks ago and it was full with a medium murk to the water. I ended up catching 8 dinks, but for me, in winter, thats more rewarding than 100 fish in the summer.
