Re: WON ??
Pete,
Thanks for the question....
First... yes the Havasu event will be paid out just like the recent Oroville event.
The entry form has payout structure based on 100 boats. Besides the payout, each Pro and AAA winner at our Pro/Am events get "FREE" entries to this years U.S. Open.
The options are also on the entry form, which can be found by clicking on our banner on the right.
Options are as follows..
Pro and AAA Big Fish = 5 Biggest Fish overall on each side from both days. Each angler may weigh 1 Big Fish each day. Anglers can as Dobyns did win multiple Big Fish Options if their 2 fish are in the top 5 overall biggest fish.
Big Stringer = Each Day of the 2 day event, 1 Pro and their AAA will win "Big Stringer" money. Options are also based on 100 boat field. If there are less than 100 boats the payouts and options are adjusted accordingly.
As for the DVL Open... We appreciate yours and all the other anglers that have expressed interest in the Southern California DVL Open scheduled for April 5 - 7. There is a meeting scheduled for this week to discuss the final outcome of our sponsor package negotiations. There will be a "Official" announcement made this Friday regarding the event details. Things are looking very positive! as soon as we know.... You will all know!

Billy
I know you want to think positive BUT IF the boat package doesnt happen will you make the DVL event a "Normal" proAM like the Havasu or will you scratch it completely? I for one would like to see it happen at least like the Havasu Delta and Oroville rather then scratching it off the schedule because I think it will have the biggest turnout of all your proams, boat or not!... Just my 2 pennies
