Chevy - Ford question.
PowerPoles: hydrolic (need room for pumps); can be lowered "out of the way" by deploying them (gives you an extra obstacle in the water when you are hooked up); probably more stylish than the talons (bling-factor)
Talons: electric; with the fold away option you can lay them on the back deck to get them out of the way (go underneath low bridges, back into garage, or just give your coangler more room to cast); quick disconnect gives you the option to take them off your boat if you don't need them (takes about 5-10 min); I don't know much about the power pole brackets but the new universal bracket for the talon is great and I think gives you the optimal position for all types of boats

I have talons and love them. Let me know if you have any questions about them and I'll try to answer them.
