Hi, we are having a family reunion at Bullhead City in late June, yes I know its gonna be HOT!
Anyhow, after doing some research I have come to the conclusion that it would probably be best if I just fished Lake Mohave instead of trying to run the Champion on the river.
I have never been to Lake Mohave and really would appreciate some tips on spots and lures to make the trip a success. Of course all Largemouth and Smallmouth bass will be released but I wouldnt mind getting a few stripers for the dinner table.
Also, I heard that Kathrine Landing would be the best place to launch, is that true?
Thanks, any information will be greatly appreciated

Yes, Katherines is your best marina, it will be packed, so get there early and may want to get off early too. Stripers will be tough and you would probably have to bait fish for them fairly deep; not my expertise. The bass fishing should be off the hook; excellent topwater action, blades, cranks in bluegill and shad patterns, drop shot the points, and jigs. If you find some grass beds, hit them with the reaction baits mentioned. If you want table fair, the catfish should be good too, they should be in the cuts and pretty easy to get.
