Delta is kickin em out, be like Bill, fish with a teen!

Long time personal friend and Delta Rat, Billy Martin caught his personal best this past Tuesday here on the Delta while out pre-fishing for next weekends C.O.Pro-Teen. Billy's been quite ill for a few years now and his time on the water has been limited. He called me up the other day and asked if we needed help, been fealing a lot better and I think I can do this, I remember how much fun we had at the last one I fished back at Big Break. Wow, that''s been almost 10 years! Yup, that's how this event with the kids works, it forever places great memories in our minds of how fun fishing can be!

Anyhow, this beast, caught on a 1/4oz Summer Craw Speed Trap in the South Delta, weighed in at 13.60lbs. Fishing alone, Billy was getting ready ta just turn her loose until he saw a DFG ranger citing a few anglers on the levee, he pulled up and offered to show the ranger his CA fishing license, but under one condition, that he weigh and take a picture of the fish for him before releasing it. THAT's Cool! Congrats Billy! Good ta see ya healthy and on the water again brother! See ya at the Pro-Teen!
