Sure. Go to the Delta instead.

Before you hit the water, you'll pay close to $15.00 in fees for the car/boat. In addition, each person has to pay a $4.00 fishing fee. Of course, there's no guarantee you'll catch. I would go to the delta too.

Seriously, I wasn't trying to be a smart ***. Pardee is a March to June deal and it can be tough even then. Tough as heck in the summer and you will most likely catch rats if anything.

i went several weeks ago but went mainly to check out the campground. it is nice lake but we couldnt find much structure or cover but up river there were areas that looked like they should hold fish especially on the points but we could not locate them up to 20ft. it was the first time on the lake but i will go back but not as often other motherlode lakes. I dont mind the extra fee once in awhile if they truly are using it to plant fish.
We threw top water to everything else.

Theres some big fish that get caught there. You just need to put the time in. Where else are you going to catch a 10lb Northern or giant small mouth?
