Lorenzo Rossetti found the big bass on the Delta again this weekend. "The best five went 30-lbs, anchored by an eight and a nine," he reported. "We threw Spooks all day with a fast retrieve on outgoing tide in a bluegill pattern. The fish were chasing shad and bluegill. The big ones were caught over flats with scattered grass in 2- to 5-feet of water. The water was 60-degrees at launch and warmed up to 62. The warmer weather had the bigger fish up shallow, looking for an easy meal."
Rossetti's gear was a Phenix 7'8" medium-heavy action M1 rod with a Lews reel on 65-lb Power Pro.
