Swim bait leakage
Bought some swim baits last year and some are still in the package but they have a milky white stuff coming out of the head…or body anyone have this issue before and know what causes it
Swim bait leakage
Re: Swim bait leakage
Are you storing them by themselves or rigged with hooks? I know my basstrix baits did this if I stored them rigged with hooks and weights. Pretty sure its the lead that does it.

Re: Swim bait leakage
Some swimbait companies don't coat their lead before pouring and if they sit to long there is a reaction which causes the milky color
most companies are now starting to coat the lead and it seems to be helping
they will still catch fish
