We've not stumbled into any of the better fall run stripers yet, but have heard dock tales of guys catching a a nice Bay run toad from time ta time. With the great shad spawn and the bait starting to bunch up, we're seeing a lot of action all over the River with the resident stripers up to 3-4 pounds. Topwater and lipless action has be great with a good number of blackies mingling with the schoolies.
They're commin fellas!
Run N Gunnin fer resident Stripers...

Maybe a good shad year will equate to an improved striper year...keep the info coming. Taking my pops out this weekend for some hopefully bog linesides.

Picked up an 8 and 4 lber in big break today. 8 lber on a silver w/ blue rattle trap. The 4 lber on a 4.5" big hammer swimbait in Pearl. Also about 8 dinks and 3 keeper large mouth to 2 lbs on same baits.
