Lake Piru

Spoke to Jolene before opening at the gate this morning. She said any day now they are going to raise the lake level 5 feet...good news...at present there is barely enough water to launch. They must have solved the political issue that precluded the stocking of trout because she also said they are going to begin stocking trout again soon.

I bass fished until the wind came up at 10:30am. Only got one. It weighed 3.1 lbs but had a 5/6 lb head...long and skinny.

I call BS on the trout plant. They have been saying the lawsuit has been dropped for a few years now. I hope its true, but don't get your hopes up.
