It is a good location for someone coming to fish Lake Mead though not necessarily a good tournament fishing location cause of the travel time. The apartment set up allows you to charge and clean your bassboat either on the street on in the parking lot right in front of the place. I have parked the Skeeter here for 2 years and never had the rig bothered. It is about 40 minutes to the lake whether you launch at Calville Bay or Boulder Harbor. For now, I'm keeping my Skeeter ZX 225 at my partner's place which is just a little closer to Mead or Mojave.

I'm no guide but I'm willing to share location knowledge. I'd guess right now the fall bass season might begin in mid September. Spring season came early 2014..late February, but the bulk of nesting was in late March and April. Stripers usually begin a surface morning bite in mid to late June.
