16.88 was weight.we had a 6.96 kicker black in the bag.yes johnny c i caught the big LM on my wierd science bait.no we didnt fish itchykoo park (code name for shi. house cove) cause the wind was howlin down the mountain.but we did fish s and m arms.the rest of the fish caught on tubes and jigs.fidel campos was and awesome partner catching as many fish as me all day long.also owner of a new puma basscat so he was really comfortable running my basscat when i had to retie, cause the way the wind was blowin all day long if you got off the trolling motor you might have been in the next county.also the way the forks muddied up friday night made for some interesting fishing .we just kept adjusting all day cause of the weather .we just happened to be in the right place at the right time.pretty cool phoning my dad at the ramp my mom said he was more excited than i was.so yes johnny i got to play my tom petty tape "its good to be king if just for one day".
