Wake Baits

What time of year do you guys throw wake baits. Just found a wake bait Jr I totally forgot I had and wondered when I should be trying it out?

Now. I've had some great wakebait days in February. Good prespawn bait when conditions are right. Come to think of it the only month I haven't caught fish on wakers is January and I probably just didn't try hard enough.

Year Round - I love wake baits in the winter months, but deadly come spawn time too, oh and summer cruizers, oh and fall action and - love me some wake bait fish - as long as you think those fish are shallow and cruizing you have good chance to grab em.

When I started throwing wakebaits I went on the theory to throw the wake bait anytime I would use a buzzbait - it helped me get my confidence up - but deadly in the winter months.
