Congrats to Todd Harris

Post by Ray L. »

We have been friends for a long time and I am glad to see one of us finally tear 'em up in the Muddy. You and I have been fishing up there for a long time and it finally paid of for one of us.
If many of you don't know Todd goes by AZ BASS 1 on hear I think. So he deserves a big congrats from all of you nutcases.I will let him tell the story but he only weighed 8 fish for that 30 pounds. That is awesome for Lake Mead.
Remember Todd lunch is on you a week from Thursday at Pleasant Marina

How long has it been for that kind of weight out of Mead with 8 fish? Great job Todd.

They were all largemouth. You don't catch smallies where he was.

Thanks Ray, It still hasn't really sunk in that I won it ...

That was the craziest thing I've ever seen at Mead... I was fishing one stretch of bank where I had caught a 7 pounder in practice. I got 11 bites in the 2 days of the tournament and only one of those was less than 3 pounds.

I felt like I was fishing at Clear Lake. Every time I got a bit it was a pig... I actually broke one off on braid on Sunday that was easily over 8lbs
