Another great day at Lake Casitas

A great day greeted all teams for Jason Hemminger on this tournament day at Lake Casitas. I was lucky enough to enjoy fishing this day with circuit sponsor Donny Boyd of Don’s Smokin Salmon. Even though we did not fish the event, we enjoyed great fishing like the rest of the contestants. Congratulations to Stan and Ken Vanderburg for pulling off another win with 20+lbs. Another highlight in this event was Doug Carlson and his partner Sam Branch who caught the Big fish of the event, making it two Big fish honors in a row. Good job guys! Casitas is a great lake with lots of big bags, no water skiers, and plenty of spots for all to fish. Look for upcoming dates, for Jason’s, or my National Bass West tournament circuits.
