Hey Phil,

It is an amazing bait, originally designed as a deastick lure, but it will wake the surface effectively. it also retails for around $300

For a more versatile and affordable Rago, check out the 8" Raptor Hardbait at tackle Warehouse.com $75

Over 3/4 of a pound, you would have to use salt water gear to chunk it.This swimbait thing is getting just a tad out of touch with reality, $300 for one lure..Sorry, but catching a huge bass just isn't that important to me..

I'm with you Mac! Besides they are beautiful baits and fish it for awhile and the hooks scrape the paint off and you no longer have a flawless piece of art. I would like to have one and display it as such, but I couldn't bring myself to throw it.
I had to come back...I know...

I've got 2 of the raptors. I have only fished it one time out. The bait has excellent action although I am concerned about the tail breaking off of the thing from slapping the water too hard.
