Headed to Pardee

Going to lake Pardee first weekend in October staying 5 days, this will be my first time on this lake does anyone have any tips?

HI Justin! Just a heads-up to let you know that the bite can be kind of slow in the fall because the water level drops fairly quickly then. Maybe not this year because of the drought. If you have not been there - prepare for gin-clear water. There are more shadows in Oct so look for those near deep water walls or off-shore drop-offs. I like jigs in the fall, as well as topwater. Drop-shotting will work too - change your baits until you find something they like! Most bass will be located on off-shore structure, not on the bank. Good luck!!

Thank you Larry I can't wait to drag some football jigs on those offshore humps. Hope to break my PB smallmouth.

You may want to drag an LA Slider 6" on those off shore structures too. Sure those fish will eat dads but them big ole girls are eating Kokanee :) Heck I havent been up there with a R2S 200 but something tells me that 160 could get their attention as well. Its a great lake, very clear, very big bass. On that Football head jig, whatever you do dont put an orange band around the hook area - that would be no GOOD. :)
