Creating Memories out on the Water..........

As the Holidays near, this is the time when families spend time together sharing gifts and memories. What better time to create memories than out on the water fishing. Just wanted to post this reminder since a good customer of mine (Larry Cherish) sent me these great pictures from a recent outing at Lake Pleasant. He took his two grandkids out on his new Ranger Z119C for a fun day of striper fishing and an exciting boat ride. Being a father of twin 9 year old boy’s, I can tell you how much fun it is to see their eyes light up when you push down on the throttle. It is so interesting to see who these young fisherman pick up on things so fast from working the trolling motor to seeing what is showing up on your electronics. Larry’s grandkids both Jaxson and Maddy had a great time catching small stripers on anchovies and spoons while grandpa I’m sure enjoyed watching the excitement in their eyes as they are reeling them in.

We have a lot of local fishing guides here in Arizona that take out families on fishing trips all the time to help them better understand our local waters and get them hooked on fishing. I have been selling boats now for over 15 years and enjoy helping people get into boating and create memories as a family. Growing up in a rough neighbor as a child, I really thank fishing for giving me a purpose and allowing me to focus on something other than getting into trouble. My dad took the time to take me out to the local park lakes and ocean every chance we had to enjoy the outdoors and spend time together. I appreciate that more now than ever and try to give my kids the same opportunity. So all you dads and grandparents with kids, please remember to try to expose our future fisherman to fishing and this is a great way to create wonderful memories with your loved ones. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year’s!

Merry Xmas little Joe. Caught a 4 and two 7s last week close to your old boat shop, after the sun goes down. Lost one I couldn't see( HAWG) under the big tree. Miss u little fella!
