I first met John Lowe after my brother -John(JC)Camara- was brutally murdered in 2011. John Lowe was a fishing buddy of my brother. But more than that, he was an incredible mentor, and I soon recognized that John Lowe was one of those special kinds of human beings who come along far too infrequently in life. He had uncommon wisdom, strength, humility, incredible integrity, and an amazing sense of humor. In the far too few years I've known John Lowe, I've been deeply touched by this great man, and indelibly changed in ways that will carry me through until it is my time to join him and my beloved brother on the greatest fishing day ever. I will miss you immensely Big John (aka Stonefree) until the day we meet again. Tight lines forever to you my friend!

That is very sad news... John was a really cool down to earth guy and he will truly be missed. RIP John, May you catch toads on triple trouts in a shining pond.
