Good friend and local fishing guide Gerry Mahieu (GerryJig) along with his client from San Diego caught an 18.3 lb bass. Christmas has come early to another fisherman.

Way to go for getting your client on Gigantor-sized world record class bass. Congrats!

What a great day.......Tim Federighi is the person who hooked and landed that fish....really great angling on his part and some luck on the both of ours for even having the opportunity. Tim is a good buddy that I've gotten to know pretty good, although he is an avid hunter and fisherman, his P.B. bass was 6lbs....he pretty much crushed that and has now set the bar pretty high for himself!, Wow! Crazy to see a 20lber last week and then to get one in the boat almost as big today!....PINCH ME!....very cool!
