Shadow Cliffs Reservoir Tips

Post by Seananator »

Hey guys!
A couple of buddies and I are going fishing at Shadow Cliffs tomorrow. I have fished there before, but didn't have to much luck. Are there any tips for any kind of fish there?
Even if you can't reply by tomorrow, can you post them for future reference?
Thanks!
Sean

Bass fishing can be tough in the main Shadow Cliffs area and better fishing is usually found in the back ponds. If you are fishing the main lake, I've caught a few drop shotting and know/seen a number of guys tossing swimbaits though never seen them hook up. A buddy of mine was out last week and caught a limit of trout trolling (big fish was 6lbs). I think trout are probably a better option now.

Whenever I go there, I go for trout. I have heard the same thing about bass. Thanks for the info on the trout fishing!
