Saving waypoints to a sd card

Trying to save all of my way points to sd card. Unit is a HDS Gens 2 10" and im using a 16 gig card. I get to where I push inport and an ourglass comes up for a split second and appears to be downloading but I put it in the other unit to upload and nothing there. I also put the chip in my computer thinking I might be doing something wrong when uploading and nothing is on the chip. Please tell me what im doing wrong.

Make sure when you choose Import, that you choose to Import the waypoints, routes and trails to the SD card. If you don't choose the destination for the Import to the SD card, the units just saves the data to itself where it already exists so the hour glass only appears for a couple seconds when the unit verifies that the data is there.
