I have 1 800 bass boat also and one month after I sign on I hit some rocks and damage my lower unit. Had my mechanic send in a repair order and they took care of it rite away.

i have foremost its covers 100,000 for accidents and 1,000 per person. This is the bare minimum coverage, but i need it so i can store my boat. I pay 128.00 per year. The boat is a 99 nitro 640lx with a 75 hp merc. Hope this can help

Check with your auto/homeowner ins. co. first, you might be surprised! I have my cars and boat insured through State Farm. I hit something on the Delta about 3 months after I got my latest boat, messed up the lower unit and prop. Turned in a claim along with an estimate for a new lower unit, they came back within a couple of days asking for an estimate on a lower unit rebuild vs. new. Repair shop said it was rebuildable. Sent in the revised estimate and a check was in the mail within a week.
