Explosive wildfire near Lake Berryessa grows to 4,000 acres

Fire prompts evacuations; shuts down Hwy. 128

Crews are battling an explosive wildfire near Lake Berryessa that has quickly grown to 4,000 acres and prompted authorities to order mandatory evacuations of at least two communities.

It looked pretty big as I could see it out the window of the plane when we where landing in SFO tonight.

The fire started between the Dam and Markley Cove from a car wreck that cought fire! from There the fire traveled east away from the lake!
