That sucks!
Was it in the water, or on it's trailer?

sorry to hear about that. I also have my boat in a slip at russo's. I remember asking them in the office, "shouldn't i bring a chain to lock my boat up?' They say "no, this isn't oakland, people dont do stuff like that around here." LIES!!!!!!

AAAAA HHHHHOOOOLLLLEEEEESSSSS!!!!!
Put up some info on what you're missing so IF someone runs into a "seller" they can contact you or the sheriff. Sorry about your loss.

That really sucks !!! Did you have any type of locks ? Like a Loc-R-Bar ? I've left mine at Russos before and never had an issue. I have a steering lock I'm working on for protecting when in a slip. Sounds like I need to get back on it !! Post pics, I'm always checking classifieds.

That sucks! Sorry to hear Pizzabob. Rode with you at the Berryessa CTT on day 1. Hope they catch and shoot the A-holes on site.
Fishing should be fun.

This is bad news, sorry to hear. I hope the marinas take this seriously and step up security measures. I've left my boat in an overnight slip at Russo's and other marinas throughout the delta with no issues but I've always been worried. I always ask if they have 24 hr security, not that it is going to stop a thief it just makes me feel better. I will now have to rethink the convenience factor. Although I also worry about my boat while on the trailer in the parking lot of a hotel. God help the sucker that tries to steal my boat or equipment. I'm a light sleeper...

I heard from a friend that lives in Disco that last week two pontoon boats were taken from discovery bay. The boats were found with outboards removed and floating in the area of Lazy M Marina. Same MO and might be same suspects. Sad news to hear. Not worth it to leave a boat in a berth in the delta right now. Apparently some night crawlers roaming the river.
