Re: Oroville bite?
Bite has been great for 5-6 weeks now. Middle fork best for me. Have the kids fish with night crawlers, easy to fish and spots love them. Remember, the spots hug the bottom, gets the kids down on the bottom for fish. Taking my son next week, plan on him (30 yrs old) using night crawlers. Last year he got 26 fish dipping live nigh crawlers, and he's not a fisherman and even a few 15-16". Me, roboworms and or senko's.

Thanks Tom! Might have to leave the wife and daughter at home now with the latest forecast. But my son and I are ready to roll up in the morningTom Gronwall wrote:Bite has been great for 5-6 weeks now. Middle fork best for me. Tom, fished saturday for 3 hours before the rain came and had 40 plus fish and missed just as many. slower this morning with around 30 fish for 3 hours. all at the front of middle fork. darter heads with small swimbaits and poppers.

Awesome, great catches, glad they were biting like they should be. Serious, better bite further out the middle fork. :>)
