Spokane Bass Club - Loon Lake

Our Loon Lake tournament was a tough road for many, but several anglers found quality fish and stuck with their patterns to finish out for some valuable AoY points. The tournament was changed from Deer Lake due to low water launching conditions, and many anglers discussed the differences between the two lakes that are so close to one another. yet fish very different.

Here's the recap:

TJ Merrell took home first place with 14.57-pounds. This marks TJ's third win on Loon Lake since the Spokane Bass Club was formed. His wins go back to 2013, 2014 (night tournament) and now 2016. His winnings were $375, congratulations TJ!


David Slater finished in second place with 13.16-pounds and took home $225 for his finish.


Mark Haley brought home third place with 10.62-pounds and $138 for his finish.


Brad Soares edged out the competition for our Big Fish award with a 4.44-pound largemouth and took home $120 for the biggest catch.
